ARCHERY HOUSE FUNDRAISER FOR HAITIAN CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
**Giving hope a shot**

SAN DIEGO - Hope floats or in this case soars! In response to the urgent need for resources in Haiti, a local company, Archery House, will partner with the Sporting Chance Foundation to host a unique fundraiser to benefit relief efforts. On Saturday, January 30, 2010, Archery House will offer unforgettable archery experiences at Doyle Park and Recreation Center for "bows and girls" ages 8 and up.

"Communication is still extremely difficult in Haiti," said Sporting Chance Foundation Founder Seth Stammler. "Our plan right now is to help provide any and all assistance to those individuals we have interacted with previously through our partners - the Jaime Haiti Foundation and Voila Foundation."

All proceeds raised from the event will benefit the search and rescue, infrastructural, medical, clothing and nutritional support to Haitian children who have received scholarships from the Sporting Chance Foundation, their families, and others who can benefit from the support.

"Community transcends boarders. We feel it's important to do our part to support the relief efforts in Haiti," said Archery House President Tara Robey.

Participants will learn the basics of archery through a variety of fun games and instruction. Each hour and a half lesson is lead by Tara Robey, an instructor certified by the National Archery Association and former athlete of the US Olympic Training Center. All equipment is provided.

Classes are open to the public, times are as follows: children 8+ and teens 9:00 am -10:30 am; families 10:30 am - 12:00 pm; and adults 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm.

A minimum donation of $10 per person is requested (larger donations will be accepted). Space is limited, to RSVP call Archery House at (858) 254-4058 or email TRobey@usarcheryhouse.com.
