KMG RACING PREPARES TO RACE FOR THE CHALLENGED ATHELETE FOUNDATION AT THE APBA MARK HAHN MEMORIAL HAVASU 300
** 300 Continuous Miles of Competition for a Cause**

SAN DIEGO - KMG Racing has launched its training into overdrive in preparation for the worlds longest continuous personal watercraft race, the Mark Hahn Memorial Havasu 300 taking place February 27th, 2010. The six-member team is proud to announce it will race on behalf of the Challenged Athlete Foundation and Operation Rebound.

KMG Race team consists of veteran jet ski racers Mark Manke, Charlie Sims, Dave "Looter" Hardenburger, David Fekete, and Todd "Sarge" Young, and Dawn Fekete. Collectively the team goal is to raise a minimum of $6,000 to benefit Operation Rebound, a program that provides unparalleled sports opportunities and support to troops and veterans of any branch of service and first responders who have served honorably and have suffered permanent physical injuries.

"The grueling 300 mile course is extremely intense and the racing highly competitive," said Mark Manke, local KMG Racing team member. "My race partner, Charles Sims and I are preparing to compete against some of the worlds best racers. We're humbled to be able to use the race to raise money for a cause so close to our team."

Sanctioned by the American Power Boat Association (APBA), the Mark Hahn Memorial 300 race is an extreme test of endurance and stamina. The 2010 race is expecting attendance of thousands of spectators and over 70 two-rider teams from a dozen countries. Race entrant categories include teams of two or more persons racing runabout (sit down) water craft or stand-up water craft as well as "Ironman" (individual) racing on either style of craft. Over the duration of the 300 mile race competitors are faced with technical and physical variables such as fuel stops, mechanical problems, rider changes, rough water conditions and attrition.

The sixth annual race is held in memory of endurance racer Mark Hahn who was instrumental in providing momentum to the growth of endurance racing in the U.S.
